We are a group of dedicated individuals that decided to embark on a recycling project within the Phoenix Community. We decided to name our project “Phoenix for the Planet” as we believe that the residents within our phoenix community would be able to play a pivotal role in recycling to save the planet. “Phoenix for the Planet” aims at collecting all recyclable products from households, schools and industries within our community. This project will be undertaken in phases. Initially, dry waste and within a few months, wet waste as well. Our ultimate goal is to reduce our carbon footprint with zero waste going into landfills.
